Day 1 to 2

First thing you see in the mirror and feel that your brows are swollen and look too dark. Don’t be frustrated with the shade of pigment. Out of frustration, some people try to wash their brows with water. Do not try to wet or touch the brows. Otherwise, it will alter the final color. Be patient and do not look into the mirror after again and again. Just chill and find some activity that keeps you busy.

Day 3-4

Eyebrows feel itchy and start scabbing. Still, you don’t need to avoid eyebrows from water. The color feels dark but do not worry.

Day 5-7

The most frustrating stage starts that is scabbing. Yo eyebrows seem broken into dark and light patches. You will have an urge to scratch the scab, but you have to control yourself and let the scabs flake off on their own.

Day 8-10

The scabs flake off, and your eyebrows look too light and patchy. It feels all the pigment has washed out. But this is not the case. The powder brows look light at this stage because new skin forms a layer of pigment and hides it behind the layer. Do not worry, the color will return after dead cells flake off?

Day 11 to 28

The pigment color returns, but your eyebrows show up some gaps and imperfections. You need to go out but obviously, you will feel embarrassed to go with patchy eyebrows. Now you might be thinking about when can I wear makeup after powder brows? The answer is you can wear makeup at this stage. But avoid too much sun and water exposure. Because you are still within the healing stage.

Day 29 to Day 40

Your eyebrows completely heal, and at this stage need a touch-up. Powder brow touch-up is the essential step to make your eyebrows look perfect. Powder brows touch-up healing process is less intense, and your brows heal much faster. But if brows need a lot of alteration and correction, then the healing process may take a longer time.

Day 40 – Day 50

After touch-up healing, now brows look perfect. You can approach two ways for the healing process, whether use an ointment that is called wet healing, or not using any ointment, and let the brows heal on their own. Not using any ointment during healing is called the dry healing process. During healing, many people ask that do powder brows shrink? It is noted that after the healing process the pigment fades within 30 days and shrinks as compared to 1st-day pigment.
